What can you learn on an escalator about network marketing?

I have been curious about that very issue.When I was waiting in line the other day to purchase an Apple iPhone, my young sons had to have rode the escalator up and down about 100 times.

While my husband waited in line the children and I entertained ourselves by riding the escalator. Before my youngest son and I reached the top of the escalator, we saw my six year old son on the descending escalator.

Turning around, Blake began running UP that descending escalator. It was easy to see that he was having a great time.

Just as Blake started running up a descending escalator, a young woman appeared at the top and exclaimed:

"I could never do that."

I cannot believe I just heard that. Though young, fit, and healthy, the woman's mind limited her.

It's like one of those times, when something really uncomplicated opened up so clearly inside me. You cannot do something until you believe you can.

When I mentioned this to Mick Weber, my Genewize business partner, he said,

"You know Jenn, if that woman's daughter was at the top of escalator and needed her, she wouldn't think twice before she ran to the top to get to her daughter." I'm sure he's correct.

Don't let a lack of faith or confidence in yourself come between you and your success.
