did you hear that noise outside?
is it possibly a crook?
do I need to call the Sheriff?
have you got the nerve to look?

could it be an animal
marauding in the trash
or is it just a burglar
wanting to steal my cash?

something walked by my window
OH MY GOSH! it's big and hairy
it isn't a Gnome or Toll
and it's certainly not a Fairy

whatever it is, it's ten feet tall
it's too big to be an ape
I should get my camera, but
I'm out of video tape

it stopped, just for a moment
it paused, and peered inside
I almost wet my britches
there was no place I could hide

for a minute, our eyes met
it was such a sight to see
the illusive "Missing Link"
was face to face with me

our minds, they flowed together
until I wished I had a gun
with a startled look, he whispered
now it's time for me to run

it's a once in a lifetime experience
it's too big to be believed
it's unfortunate, that he left
as for me, I'm so relieved

no matter how long you live
you'll think"you've seen it all before"
there's nothing as shocking as this
to find a Bigfoot outside your door

I'd heard he's been around here
he was seen in a community
as with all the sightings, before tonight
he has complete immunity

the local newspapers reported
he was in Newnan the other day
with a brief description and a laugh
was about all that they could say

he was seen over in "th' hood"
at a neighbor's, in the back
was it a deceptive shadow, or
was the witness smoking crack?

if, by chance, you see him
don't scare him, he'll run away
then, you can only wish
he'll be back again, someday

I hope you'll alert the State Patrol
don't bother the Canadian Mounty
Bigfoot was seen in South Georgia, and
he's residing here in Heard County
