A View on Video Surveillance

Video surveillance has been here as early as the sixties, yet when its utilization became normal in the early '90s, people started to become apprehensive of it. Some claim it is an encroachment to privacy while some are saying it is a method of abuse of power on the government's part. A lot of persons are making a business about how the appearance of surveillance cameras is getting into their nerves. But however which direction I view it, I don't see anything incorrect with installing surveillance camera systems around the city particularly on public locations as well as dark alleys.

The idea of security camera systems was considered when crime rates started going off the charts and techniques of terrorism started to rock the world. I assume a home owner can perfectly afford a home security camera of his own if he thinks he requires it. The idea is to not exaggerate it. If the only concern here is privacy, I would rather be safe.
