A Winning Attitude For Surviving Economic Stress and Astronomical Gasoline Prices

"Everybody Hurts" it used to be just a song. Now it is a somber fact. Used to be that life was reasonably comfortable for many people in this country. How many friends do you see that are financially comfortable? And even those that are, well, they are less financially comfortable then they were 5-10 years ago and if the USS Greenback Dollar sinks then they will go down with the rest of us too!
Expert sailors had a saying which was that “Ol’ Davey Jones is the most ornery fella that you will ever meet but he does respect a ship where the crew know their business”. That is to say, if one is prepared for any emergency then it won’t happen or they will not be the adverse effect of it if it does.
How many people do you know that are ready for a financial disaster or for whatever your region’s natural disasters might be, for instance, a new Katrina?
Most people around you are cruising on automatic, or at best, semiautomatic. They are kept from sinking by the fact that they can get by doing the same thing every day. They hypnotically drive to work, sleepwalk through their day at the job like they do every day, hypnotically drive home and vegetate. Nothing self determined about their lives. Nothing original. Every day is “Groundhog Day”!
But if that system were to crash, watch out! Because those are the souls that will go down with it.
The question becomes do you want to survive or not? And how bad do you want it? If you are not a walking zombie like so many are these days. If you go where there are a lot of people and step back and look at their emotionless faces it is pretty spooky. Then you will take this to heart.
Start doing some research. Find out what you need to know. Make contingency plans. Divest of the US dollar and put your assets into foreign currencies and precious metals. Find out what you can do to survive earthquakes, levee breaks, martial law, etc.
Probably the most immediate concern is the price of gas. In 2004 Americans were outraged. The price per barrel of oil had gone up to $50! Four years later now the price of gas is over $100 and climbing and might double that in the near future!
Better start thinking outside the box on this one. You can turn your vehicle into a hydrogen fueled vehicle, use water for gas and opt out of this artificially created and potentially imminent disaster. Water for gas? Yes! Water for gas! There are ways to do it and you would be wise to investigate how you can run your vehicle using water for gas. That will save you money now and safeguard you against paying $12/gallon if we attack Iran or some other disaster strikes.
And that is my suggestion to you. I hope you take it to heart.
