Apple iPhone - What Accessories Are Available

Even though Apple only released the iPhone on to the market in June of this year it is already looking likely to be just as popular as their iPod. Because of this there are going to be a large number of companies who are going to be producing Apple iPhone Accessories for use with it. Today if you did a quick search of the internet for such accessories you will be amazed at the number of results you receive back.

Below we take a look at some of the ones which are likely to be the most popular. Whilst there are other accessories that are available these are some of the ones that we feel are essential.

1. Cases - Prior to the iPhone actually being released by Apple in June 2007 there were some companies that where offering accessories including cases for it. Certainly Apple recommend that if you want to protect your investment (an iPhone can cost anything from $499 to $599) it is important that you buy a case for it.

2. Screen Protector - Like many modern mobile phones this one comes with multi touch technology. Which means that you will be constantly touching the screen in order to navigate your way round the Apple iPhone's various features. So if you really care about your phone and want to protect your screen from scratches and other damage then a screen protector is an essential accessory for your iPhone that you should be buying.

3. Bluetooth Headset - This particular allows you the chance to quickly and simply receive all calls through the pressing of 1 button without actually having your iPhone in your hands. However it is the built in lithium ion battery which makes this particular accessory especially good as it allows you up to 5.5 hours of talk time and 72 hours of standby time. Plus the battery is actually rechargeable as well.

4. Stereo Headset - This one accessory has been designed using the same technology to be found in the Apple iPod headsets. Just like the iPod headsets it comes with a good quality microphone (including windscreen) but has additional features as well. It not only allows you to use the music play back facility on it but allows you also to answer any phone calls that you receive whilst wearing them.

5. iPhone Dock - This is a very essential accessory for your iPhone. It provides you with the same facilities that the Apple iPod dock does. In that it sits on your desk and when you need to recharge your iPhone or download some additional music on to it you just connect your iPhone to the dock. As well as the docking station when you buy this accessory you get an AC power adaptor, a USB cable to connect the dock to your PC or laptop and also an audio line. This final piece of equipment then allows you to connect the dock to your stereo and listen to the music on your iPhone this way as well.

As well as the iPhone accessories mentioned above there are plenty of other ones which you yourself may think are important and therefore worth you buying. But which ones you do buy you can expect to spend anything from $9.00 up to $180.00 easily.
