Applying False Eyelashes

Have you ever seen those movie stars with beautiful long eyelashes and wish you could get a similar look? The answer is false eyelashes. The aim of this article is to give you some advice a tips on how to apply false eyelashes.

Getting the perfect eyelashes is not always easy if you are just using mascara, this is partly because you can only work with what you have. If you want to create that sexy, dramatic look then false eyelashes are the best option. Using then will have everybody noticing you and your eyes.

Below is a list of tips on how to apply your false eyelashes:

1. Clean your hands to make sure you do not transfer any dirt.

2. Using your clean, dry hands, carefully remove the lashes for one eye from the box.

3. Line up the lashes with your real ones, across the line of the upper lashes. If the size is right then perfect, if you find they are slightly too long then you should trim them a little bit to get them to the perfect size.

4. Now you need to apply the glue very carefully. The best way to do this is using a pair of tweezers. Add a small drop of glue to the tip of the tweezers. Then use the tweezers to run the glue along the band of the false lashes. Try to keep the glue on your tweezers to a minimum to avoid having a blob of glue on the band that may spread over the lashes to ruin your look. Once the glue has been applied, leave it for about 30 seconds to dry slightly and so that it becomes tacky.

5. Now you need to apply the lashes to your eye. It is best to start on the inner side of the eye. Gently press the lashes down and run your figure over the band to the outer eye. Try and keep the band of the lashes as close to the line of your real lashes as possible to ensure you get as natural a look as possible.

6. You now need to make sure your false eyelashes are blended into your real lashes so that people cannot tell they are fake. The best way to do this is by applying a thin coat of black mascara over your real and false lashes.

7. Go out and wow people with your great new look.

When you get home at the end of your night out it is important to remember to remove your false eyelashes before going to bed. They should just pull off with very little effort at all. You will then be able to put your false eyelashes back in their box ready for the next time that you want to use them.

If you feel that your natural eyelashes are too thin or too short then you will find that false eyelashes may be your best option. They will allow you to have the eyelashes that you always wished you have which will help with your confidence. It is important to remember that the greater your confidence the more you will attract people to you and so with this one simple cosmetic you may be able to completely change the way you come across to other people.
