Well it is a combination of all of the above.

America is broke. The greenback dollar is disgraced and discarded.. Inflation has run amuck. The Federal Reserve won’t even tell us how many money they are pumping into the system and everyone is being ripped off .
Why?
Because we have abandoned the Constitution and from the principles that it was based upon which are self reliance, rule of law, staying out of entangling alliances with countries, no nation building, the gold standard and all these things are converging.
End the war, end the Fed and restore the power to coin money to the Congress, end the welfare state, restore the free market and we will have a vibrant Americaagain and gas prices will go down!
How bankrupt is America? The national debt is around $9 TRILLION! The truenumber of dollar bills in circulation is around $400 BILLION!
Proceed as we have been and we will soon have fuel prices we never dreamed possible. People in other nations are paying $6 or more per gallon!
Now, as regards self reliance, what can one do, on an individual basis, besides supporting Dr Paul for president and his freedom, free market and peace policies to spend less for a gallon of gas? Well the price of fuel is beyond control except as above. So what about getting more value out of what the gas we buy can do for us?
Ah! Now we are talking about free market, self reliance, entrepreneurial American spirit!
And one of the best solutions is using water or hydrogen to decrease your gas consumption by as much as 30%
