Cleaning carpets can be hard and rigorous both for the carpet cleaner and the carpet itself. Although there are some high-end and quality carpets that still look good after decades of cleaning, most carpets found in ordinary homes are of average quality. It is not surprising therefore that after only a few cleaning, these carpets can look as though it has been around for centuries. In order to maintain the look of your carpets, carpet cleaning repair tips are very important. Restoring Color Let's face it, some people are just plain clean freaks and will stop at nothing to be able to clean their carpets at least twice a day. This is especially true for people who buy new carpets. However, this can cause a lot of damage to a carpet, especially in the case of its color. Over time, it will seem to fade. There are also unfortunate accidents that involve bleach spills on carpets. These effects can actually be reversed and here is one carpet cleaning repair tip that anybody can use. In the market, you can buy a bleach stain carpet repair liquid such as the one from Roper Systems. The instructions on these carpet repair liquid are easy to follow and it won't be long until your carpet color situation is remedied. It even restores color loss caused by over-exposure to sun. Dents For those of you who like to park furniture on top of carpets, you might notice that when you lift your carpets for vacuuming under them that there are dents left behind on the carpet. These dents are caused from furniture legs or anything that puts weight on the carpet. Believe it or not, you can actually get rid of these dents with a little hard work and grooming tools like some hard-bristled brushes. Use a brush on the dented areas to help loosen the tufts and have them stand up like all the other threads on the carpet. You can then use a steam iron to steam the dented area as you keep brushing up the tufts. However, do not let the iron touch the carpet; just keep it a short distance away from it as you allow the steam to soften the tufts in the dented area. This is one carpet cleaning repair tip that you need to keep in mind especially if you like to move your furniture around a lot. Shading Carpet shading is also one problem that you have to deal with in carpet cleaning, repair and maintenance. Shading is the noticeable difference of shades on different areas of your carpet. This happens when some areas like carpet edges and corners receive lesser vacuum runs than others. There is really no real remedy for carpet shading so it should be enough warning for you to know that such carpet problems exists in order to avoid it. When vacuuming, make sure that you evenly and equally vacuum all areas to prevent it from shading.
