Dr Ron Paull and A Stop Gap Handling For The Price of Fuel

Who’s Dr Ron Paull? In spite of 60 thousand Americans donating in 24 hours to his presidential campaign (generating more than six million dollars. Inflation is one. Inflation is currently roughly 10 percents. There is no way to get an exact statistic what the inflation rate is because the Federal Reserve stopped telling us the number of dollars they are printing out of thin air.
So, the result of this, in the real world, a gallon of oil that cost $3 now costs $3.30!!! That’s easily a couple hundred dollars per year on the inflation alone! Ok, so that is one head of the two headed beast.
Taxation of roughlyhalf a dollar per gallon is the other head! .
So about ¼ of what we pay at the pump is tax and inflation or so from the $3.30 and we would be paying $2.50 per gallon of oil. Which is way too high,still, but better. The government has contributed to the astronomical price of oil in two other ways. One, the decline in value of the dollar is something that is totally created by the Federal Reserve. It affects the price of oil another way besides inflation. Since oil is practically a currency of its own, the decline in value of the dollar means that our dollar buys less oil! Also, government red tape has obstructed the opening of even one new refinery in this country since the 1970s!
So Dr Paul’s legislation is a stop gap solution that would prohibit the price of oil from rising above $3 and it also opens America up for business again in the oil business including ending the moratorium on offshore drilling.
For obvious reasons, Dr Paul’s solution will never become law.
So what can we do?
1. Join the Ron Paul Revolution and put an honest man in the White House
