Making your business run smoothly is one of the top priorities for any company, regardless if they are large or small. File management is one of the most important key elements when it comes to keeping everyone involved and up to date with the latest information in any business. Many companies rely on emailing one another and saving information, files, and reports in folders on their computers, and repeating this process every time a change is made or a file is requested. Though this type of data and information storage may work, it can be clumsy, confusing, and inconvenient. That’s why we’d like to introduce to you a new, simple, and logical method of electronic file management, or EFM. The JMOR Connection, Inc. is dedicated to Engineering Technology to Grow Your Business® and creating business solutions that work. They believe in making it easier to expand and manage your business. Because of this, they have created a program that allows you to remotely upload and manage files, data, and any other important information that might need to be seen, or collaborated with other colleagues or clients. The basic concept of EFM is that an administrator is assigned to the file management account. That administrator has complete permissions and control over the account and can assign sub administrators to the account and allow them different permissions over the files that are uploaded. For example; if a company needs to get a contract out to numerous employees or clients, this document can be uploaded remotely from any computer that has Internet access. The account administrator has the ability to set a file expiration by hours, days, months, a specific date, or by a certain number of downloads. Then any other parties who need to view this document or documents can log in from any computer, and they are then able to view the documents that have been specifically uploaded to the account for them. If need be, files can be sent to one time users with a simple e-mail link without the need to even enter the EFM system. EFM contains features that allow the main administrator to track statistics and keep reports of files and documents that are uploaded to the account. The reports feature of this electronic file management system can keep a very detailed record of all uploads, downloads, IP tracking, password changes, and other modifications made within the account. Everything can be easily tracked and monitored by the main administrator with a sort query from the date a document was initially uploaded, dates and times of changes made, who made the changes, where the changes were made from, and so on. This makes managing files and documents within a company as simple as possible. Another great reason to use such a file management system is to keep track of all correspondence between you and each of your clients. Electronic file management broadens the lines of communication for more convenience within your business. Since you can log into your account from anywhere and even request a password reset with user selectable security questions and a secure tracking system, the possibilities are just beginning. Avoid the hassle of forgetting where you stored your latest contract; allow EFM to let you easily facilitate, create, and manage folders and the documents you upload to them. If you are truly looking to drive your business forward and keep up with the ever-changing technological world, then the use of electronic file management might be just the change your business is looking for.
