Just about everyone loves Halloween. If you are planning to throw a Halloween or costume party this year you can can set the mood in your home in a variety of ways. Everyone loves food, it makes you relax at a party where you may not no anyone and everyone has to eat, so it may help to break the ice and make it easy to strike up a conversation with someone. Buy a bag of small pretzels and lay them out flat on a cookie sheet. Then you will unwrap a Rolo and place one on top of each of the pretzels. You may need a little assistance unwrapping all of the Rolos. Place them in a preheated oven at 325 degrees for about five minutes. While the pretzels are in the oven take a bag of white chocolate chips and melt them. Drop in some orange food coloring and dye the chocolate. When the pretzels come out of the oven, immediately take some small white marshmallows and place them in the middle of the Rolo. Then in a sweeping motion sweeping across the top the orange white chocolate. Place them on a Halloween or orange platter for your guest. I guarantee your guest can't eat just one. Bake a box of cupcakes according to the directions on the box. Purchase some Halloween themed cupcake paper cups. Decorate the cupcakes with orange icing. Then take some black icing in a tube and draw a spider on the top of the cupcake. No two spiders are the same so you can't mess it up. If you are not confident enough with your artistic abilities you can buy food confetti to decorate the top of the cupcakes. You can make any type of food Halloween themed with a little orange food coloring, or Halloween themed M&M's. Take some medium sized clear bowls, glasses, etc. and put them out on the food table with different Halloween themed candies in them. Make sure to send each guest home with a party favor, it needs to be something that is usable. The M&M company will personalize M&M's for you. You can send each guest home with some in a cello bag with an orange and black ribbon tied around the top with a small card strung on the ribbon saying, "Thank you for coming to 1st annual Halloween party, see you next year." http://www.ilovehalloween.info/Halloween-Treat.html
