Electronics is the field of studying the current of electrical charges that pass through gadgets and supplies. Examples of these supplies are resistors, inductors, semi-conductors, vacuum tubes, nano structures and capacitors. The transference of power and data is always involved when one is dealing with electronics. Electronic circuits has 2 main uses. The first one is to control and process information. The second use of electronics is to change and allocate electric power. When looking at an electronic system one should divide it in 3 parts. These parts are: •Inputs – electronic sensors that take signals from an external outlet such as antennas. These signals are then transformed into electrical currents inside the system. •Signal Processors - circuits that control, interpret and transform signals. These circuits make the signals useful for a specific location. •Outputs - devices that transform the electrical current or signals back in its useful state. This is done by achieving a specific task. What is Consumer Electronics? Consumer electronics consists of any electronic tool being used on a daily basis. It is usually utilized in the field of communicationsand leisure. Examples of these consumer electronics are telephones, computing machines, calculators, auditory tools, and film viewers such as VCD or DVD players. Labels such as LG, Philips, Apple, Sanyo, Sony, and Samsung analog circuits already use digital or microprocessor mechanisms in order to develop the presentation of the said circuit. This kind of circuit is known as “mixed signal”. It is hard to differentiate an analog from a digital circuit because they have linear and non-linear mechanisms. Digital Circuits: They are circuits that are based on the amount of distinct voltage or current heights. It is the physical representation of the “Boolean Algebra”. It is the foundation of each digital processor. Terms like ‘digital system, logic and digital circuit’ are transposable in digital circuit context. The building blocks of digital circuits are the following: Adders Binary multipliers Flip-flops Logic gates Schmitt triggers Registers Counters Examples of highly incorporated device: Microprocessors Microcontrollers Digital signal processor or DSP Field-programmable gate array or FPGA Mixed-signal Circuits: This refers to ICs or incorporated circuits. These circuits have both analog and digital circuits that are joint on a solitary semi-conductor or on the like circuit panel. Examples of the said circuits are buffers and transmission gates.
