The online CPR certificate has become a prerequisite to employment in many different types of industries. It is definitely required by those wishing to enter the health or wellness industries, and in fact much of their training can not go ahead until students present their teachers with a copy of their online CPR certificate. Even when not required, being able to show that you have a current CPR certificate on your CV is a great bonus when job hunting.

Whichever course you decide to take it is essential that it is nationally recognized by not only government agencies, but also schools and hospitals. In case of failing the test the first time, some courses will charge an extra $10 to retake the test. Be aware that this is a rip-off.

You can expect to pay around $20 to obtain an online CPR certificate. Some charges are up as high as $25 - $30, but you do not necessarily receive any better training. Employers and schools who wish to organize group bookings should be able to negotiate a lower price for their employees or students.
