Would you like to be smarter? Or what about being able to remember names and details? Maybe you’d like to improve your focus and moods. Well, regardless of where you are now, you can improve things.

In our modern, fast paced world, few of us eat as well as we should. It's very easy to shrug off healthy foods as too time consuming to prepare. Snacks, fast foods, packaged foods and restaurant foods might fill your belly, but they offer little to no nutrition for optimum health and almost no nutrients for your brain.

What your brain needs to function at its best is brain food and the only place you can get these all-important nutrients is from fish or fish oil supplements. Studies show that the omega 3 oils, especially DPA and DHA, are necessary for proper brain health. These oils have been linked with decreasing violent behavior, preventing Alzheimer’s, decreasing and in some cases reversing clinical depression, bipolar disorder and manic depression, helping people sleep better and elevating their moods. These are the reasons that researchers have called omega 3 fish oils "brain food".

To give you an idea of how important they are, over 90% of the oils in a newborn’s brain are omega 3 oils like DHA. The only way the body passes omega 3 oils to the newborn is if they are plentiful in the mother's diet. New research is even showing that high levels of omega 3 in the brain at birth can lead to improved intelligence and moods much later in life.

And, even if you didn't have high omega 3 levels at birth, there's something you can do about it right now. Something you can easily do right now is to get more fish into your diet. However, this may not be something you're willing to do. Not everyone likes fish or is willing to go to the trouble of buying and preparing fish. And then there's the whole heavy metal issue. Let's not forget vegetarians who are not eating fish. They have absolutely no way of getting the omega 3 oils from fish that they're bodies need. These are not the same oils that are found in flaxseed.

For most people, their best bet of getting optimum amounts of omega 3s in their diet is to supplement with pure omega 3 fish oil.

Feed your brain the foods it's looking for and you'll be pleasantly surprised with your results. Improved memory, focus and moods are just some of the positive results you'll be experiencing.
