Get the right stroller for your baby

We often hear from customers who are ready to shop for a new stroller, yet have no idea where to begin or how to narrow down their options. Whether you are searching for your first stroller, a double stroller or a lightweight to make travel and errands easier – we’ve compiled our top 5 questions to think about before buying. These questions, and your answers, will help you narrow down the contenders and help you find your perfect stroller faster and with ease.
1) Do you spend a lot of time outdoors or want to do fitness walks with your stroller? Parents who spend a lot of time walking and doing errands by foot generally benefit from a stroller with larger wheels and possibly even air tires for a smoother push.
2) Will you need to take your stroller in and out of the car frequently or onto public transportation? Parents whose lives are more vehicle related usually appreciate a lighter weight stroller that is easy to fold, making getting into a car, bus or train faster and less arduous. Keep in mind many lighter weight strollers sacrifice features such as basket size and wheel size for the convenience of easy lifting.
3) Do you care about reversibility? A fair amount of strollers today have either a reversible seat or a reversible handle. This enables you to face your baby while you are strolling. While this is not a necessary feature for many, some parents enjoy the option of seeing their baby’s face while strolling. Be forewarned though, reversibility generally increases the price of a stroller.
4) What are your top 2 needs? Unfortunately for many parents, finding your perfect stroller might include some smaller sacrifices. It is important to know what are your non-negotiable items and to then make those your top priority. Do you live in a very sunny environment and need a large canopy? A big basket to hold all of your shopping? A height adjustable handle for your 6’5� husband? For many parents shopping for double strollers, the ability to hold a carseat for their newborn is a must-have convenience.
5) What is your design style? Strollers these days come in many different design aesthetics. While some have sleeker lines for a streamlined look, others strollers bill themselves as the Cadillac of strollers and incorporate more features and padding. Find a stroller whose style appeals to you since you will spend a lot of time in the coming years looking at this stroller!
