Having a trained first aid employee in your company or organization is of great importance because you never know when a disaster will arise or when one of your employees will have a problem and probably need first aid.

Weather you are a small businessman, or own a medium or large business; you will need at least one trained employee to help you with all your safety needs. As much as you need to learn on some DIY (Do It Yourself) activities on first aid just incase something happens; you should have a trained person around you.

First aid is basically being able to respond to an emergency situation and this is the kind of knowledge that your employee should be having; being able to respond to an emergency situation as first as they can.

It is important to have such a person because some cases like heart attacks, bleeding or drowning will need this urgent attention. Accidents as well will always happen unexpectedly, and having someone who has the basic knowledge of first aid is quite important.

There could also be the kind of employees who have personal problems, such as heart problems and high blood pressure; they are sure of attendance incase they have a problem.

First aid is the very first and most important step for life saving. If any emergency happens then the employee will be the first person to help the affected persons. However you have to be in position to provide the necessary aids to help your employee get through successfully. Before you get the victims for treatment probably in a hospital, the first aider will have saved the situation. Any bleedings or unconsciousness will be solved before the injured get proper treatment. This is one of the reasons as to why it's really important to have that kind of an employee.
