Directory submissions are the easiest way in which search engines can understand the theme of the registered sites and thus, categorise them and rank them better. Patience is required to view the results of submitting your site on a web directory. Directories may take some time in diverting traffic, but with continuous monitoring and updations, the website's ambitions of achieving a high traffic and good ranking.
