Many mobile phone companies will offer great benefits for signing up with them for at least 12 months. This means you will have a contract with the mobile company for 12 months in order to procure such incentives as minutes and text messaging. This answer is conditioned on the type of package you seek as well as how the incentives can be used. As the consumer it is up to you and your monetary budget to determine if you will save with a package including incentive minutes and text messaging. I would agree that text messaging; unless you have a package deal can be quite expensive especially if the mobile phone is for your child. Most of the time we sign up for a 12 month contract anyway so having incentive minutes and text messaging only adds to the appeal of the contract.
