Internet Safety for Children

The dangers for children online are real. Children are in danger everytime they are on the Internet. There are sexual predators waiting, in the dark corners of the Internet, to lure children into their trap. One in thirty-three of 10-17 year olds have received aggressive sexual solicitation on the Internet. Studies also show that 64% of teens say that they wouldn’t want their parents to know some of the things they do online. The average age of first Internet exposure to pornography is 11 years old* It is estimated that there are 420 million pages of pornography on the Internt. This is why it is important to learn about Internet Safety for Children.
