Transvestism has been practiced in society for years. Yet, even present transsexual folk and trans-sexuals still face social stigmas. Society needs to look at transvestism from a diverse perspective. A new and more tolerant social perspective can make a humongous impact on the personal and emotional well being of transsexual humans. Over the past scant years, transvestism has become more socially open and diverse and has gone through some serious reassessments and new interpretations, and there demonstrate been some changes that demonstrate led to the social and legal acceptance of cross-dressers.
