Usually when I write articles, I focus on something serious - such as how to minimise the cost of something, or what the best business opportunity it, etc etc. Well in this article, I'm going to sit back in my seat, and take a drive to the other side (no, I'm not driving and typing, it's just a saying). You see, I've let my hair down already. Anyway - moving right along - in this article, I will be discussing the more unusual side of making money on the Internet. That's right, I’ll be staying away from the normal selling / referring / marketing money makers, and diving into a few more peculiar methods. First victim - postage.

Email has somewhat rendered mainstream postage a thing of the past. Instead of sending a letter, most people just take a minute or so to type out a small email, hit the send button, and have it arrive instantly in their recipients mail box. No hassle, no fuss. But is the old postage system completely dead? Of course not! And in fact, a few online websites are providing a service which may even bring it back to life. It's called mail outsourcing, and it works like this: You log in to the online mail platform provided by the mailing company. You then type the letter you want to send out, upload a list of addresses you want it sent to and then press submit. Cleverly, the website receives all this information, prints a hard copy of your text, stuffs all the envelopes itself and sends your mail out to everyone with the next mail collection.

Clever? Extremely. And how do they make money? Well, you pay a standard monthly service fee, and then a tiny cost per envelope used. That's it! Whoever thought of this great money making idea was truly intelligent, because often people who own online businesses or small businesses are unable to find the time to do arduous administration tasks such as this on a regular basis. I don't know about you, but I really think that it’s a great money making idea!

Alright, ill stop myself right there! Enough! I can only bring myself to talk about one peculiar money making website in this article. Don't you worry though, there will be plenty more to come.
