We see ads posted every day on how to make thousands of dollars monthly taking surveys. Is it true? No, I don't think so unless you have an army working for you.

Here are some simple truths about Online Paid Surveys:

1. Can you make any money? Yes you can make some nice extra cash if that's what you are looking to do. You are not going to make 10's of thousands of dollars a month. It's simply not going to happen.

2. Do you have to have special skills sets to do the work required? NO, it is as simple as it sounds. Companies send you out surveys inquiring what you like or dislike about a particular product or service, you give your opinion, and they pay you for your time.

3. Do you really get paid in cash? No, The little know truth is that unless you sign up for one of the Paid Survey Directories, which I believe is well worth the money, you may end up taking surveys for sweepstakes entries.

4. Are Paid Survey Directory companies worth the fee's charged? Yes, in my opinion they are because the give you and organized approach and step-by-step guidance to help you avoid the common pitfalls associated the with the surveys marketplace. They also will show you, which companies pay cash or compensate you with sweepstakes entries.

5. Are these company's scams? In my opinion for the most part no! You have to do your research or use a website that has done some research for you, because there are many scam artist waiting to take your money. You want to make sure you find a good company.

There are many people who are making good money taking surveys and if you are one of those people, like my wife, who loves giving your opinion on products and services then why not earn money for doing what you already enjoy doing? I suggest either using a website like mine, but not necessarily mine that has done some research for you or be prepared to spend days doing the work yourself, but it really must be done. After all you want to ensure you get in programs that will offer the types of surveys and they payment type you prefer.

Many times homemakers are looking for work that they can do when the have pockets of free time during the day. This is perfect for that. Whether you make a few dollars or a few thousand dollars a month it can make a difference in your life. Some people are making nice money doing exactly that. Are you the type of person that would enjoy clicking on emails sent by the survey companies, going to a link they provide and answering a few questions? You be the judge.

In closing if you are looking to make some additional cash for simply giving your opinion then this could be just the ticket for you.
