Play Heads Up SNGs For Profit

There is a small band of players making good money paying heads up sngs from just a few hours play each night. These players play 1000s of heads up sngs each month and have a ROI (rate of income) between 8 and 15%. So in simple terms if a player is playing $10 +.50c heads up sngs his return for each game long term equates to $1.05 per game if we work on a 10% ROI. No much you may say but these games can sometimes be over in a few hands and by playing at least 2 or 3 at the same time it is easy to play at least 6 per hour. Build your bankroll and move up to $20 or even $50 heads up sngs and you can see what sort of profit per hour you can generate. A player playing 4 x $50 + $2.50 games per hour with a ROI of 10% will earn $21 per hour. Even a modest player who lets say plays 100 x $10 + 50c per week which in real terms low compared to how many games you could play a week would earn $105 per week which over a year equate to $5460 which could buy a nice holiday or even a second hand car.

You can add free cash to your profit by simply signing up to a new site or by getting rake back on your play. Let then say that we intend to play 100 x $10 + 50c games each week and we sign up to a site that gives up 30% rake back. Our total rake paid each week would be 100 x .50c so over a month the rake we paid would be 400 x .50c which is $200 or an extra $2400 per year. Some sites also include a deposit bonus which can add up to $2000 to our profit. I guess you are now starting to understand that playing sngs can be a nice little earner by just paying online poker an hour or two each night.

Where to play though must be given a great amount of thought. The big sites such as Stars and Full Tilt don�t offer the best deals in terms of a sign up bonus and rake back and also these sites attract the best players so that the games are much harder and so your ROI may well be under 8%. Smaller sites offer better deals but their player base is much smaller so you might waste hours waiting for games to start. My advice would be to sign up to Poker Stars and claim the $50 bonus and also sign up to PKR and sign up and claim the bonus (up to $2000) and the 30% rake back. The great think about PKR is that the general standard is very poor so you could even expect a ROI of 15% to 20%. Be careful though as many of the PKR affiliates only offer a bonus or rake back. This means that if you just have the bonus deal then after you clear it then you will not get rake back. To help you along I have included a PKR affiliate in my author notes that offers both a bonus and rake back so after you clear the bonus you will also get 30% rake back for life!
