Only when everything is right will your dog be susceptible to whatever it is you're endeavouring to teach it. Puppies are very much like children, everything is new and wonderful so their focus is very limited. Starting dog training as soon as possible will help prevent unwelcome obedience issues from arising. One can start training their new pup the moment they get it home, but take things slowly. Hold off on the obedience training for later on; say nearer 4 to nine weeks. Training a puppy early on is also a great way for both of you to forge an indestructible bond. Training your puppy early is an indispensable ingredient in developing a well-behaved puppy. Puppies gradually catch on to the significance of your commands by getting use to your facial expressions and body language. Each puppy is different and probably the most suited person to greatly appreciate a puppy's characteristic is its owner. The first thing to keep in mind when training your puppy how to behave in public and ever altering circumstances, is to keep the activity positive and enjoyable, this way your puppy will be willing to try new experiences and won't let fear hold it back. The social skills your puppy learns when it's younger will stay with it and mould the type of pet they will become, as they get older. Unruly dogs tend to be reckless and possibly dangerous. It is very important to carry out basic puppy obedience training as soon as possible. 5 or ten minutes a day may not seem like much, but it will play a big part in building your puppy's personality. Food may be offered to get your puppy's attention and used as a reward, and in time replaced with toys and heaps of praise. Getting to know your puppy's personality will offer you greater opportunities to manage training exercises. While providing boundaries and heaps of praise, you'll have a more loyal and well-mannered companion for countless joyful years to come. With any luck, by the age of approximately 3 to six months you'll be able to take things to the next level and get going on some basic training.
