Shuan White and Oakley Sponsorship

If you have watched the Winter X games or any of the top professional snow boarding events then you would have heard of Shaun White. At such a young age Shaun White has taken snowboarding to a new level and with the help of sponsors such as Oakley and UBISOFT. Among the younger generation Shaun is now a household name.

Brought up in California he was born into a family of 5 in 1986. Shaun under went surgery at the age of 5 to repair a heart condition he had been diagnosed with. Looking up to his brother Jesse, Shaun would always follow him to the skate park and the mountain when permitted. The brothers are still very close and the rivalry between them remains strong with both of them pushing each other to become better.

From a young age Shaun showed his natural talent and would not let anything slow him down. Now at the tender age of 21 the goggles giant Oakley has given him his very own snow goggles range. The Shaun White Oakley goggles are one of the top pair of goggles available and have been an instant hit with young riders.

While not hitting the snow Shaun can be found skating and this is not just to past the time. Shaun has been just as successful winning the AST tour. With such an amazing talent he has won 14 X game medals including 1 Olympic gold medal. This has resulted in Shaun becoming a sponsors dream and UBISOFT have recently released a snow boarding game across Xbox, Play station and Wii platforms which is guaranteed to take the young mans celebrity status to new heights.

While not the tallest person Shaun is a respectable 1.73 meters tall. The press have come up with many nicknames for him over the years with most of them focusing around his long red hair one of the more common ones been the flying tomato.

So what's next for this snow boarding legend? He's got his name on snow goggles and computer games and has more money than most people could ever dream of. Well in a recent interview he was asked this exact question what is next for you. He replied "I don't know" and went on to say he is just about having fun. What a life for some!
