Ever had a sore wrist after yoga? It may be from the endless Downward Dogs. Most beginners do not have perfect form with this pose and end up overextending the wrists. Try placing a rolled up towel or a one-inch pad under the heel of the hand. This will decrease the amount of stress placed directly on the small bones and ligaments of the wrist, these structures not really designed for weight bearing, unless you weight forty pounds.
