You might consider it peculiar, that in an age when so many people are well informed, they don't treat their bodies as well as their material possessions. Absurdly, the body is regularly mistreated by the intentional, or passive, intake of contaminants, to the extent that it compels you to question what the advice you receive is worth. It appears to be of little value, as far as dealing with natural health is the issue, and also in equipping people to avoid health issues, that are usually due to their own actions. Rather than building up their own defensive mechanisms, many people have come to rely on professional assistance when they feel under the weather. Some of them seem not to realize that prolonged neglect, including a poor diet, with little exercise has contributed to their deteriorating health. Let us reiterate that people very often don't spare enough time to protecting their most precious asset, which is their own body. If you deny yourself the basic necessities it will not be long, before the crunch comes. People may then turn to conventional medicine for an over the counter or prescription drug, not realizing that if it helps, it won't be permanent, if they don't make that change and look after their natural health. Oddly, there is a body of opinion that is inclined to dismiss complementary medicine as worthless, or at least something that is not established as being of any particular relevance. Ancient forms of medicine have produced Acupuncture, Yoga, Meditation, and other procedures that are widely accepted in the West. Are you aware that there are some insurance companies, in the USA, who discount life insurance for people who have learned the TM technique? It is generally accepted that acupuncture relieves pain, and it is apparent that a growing number of Western medical centers, offer some type of Eastern medicine in their facilities. It has been suggested that you are what you eat, but nobody would want to awaken one morning as a grease laden hamburger or sausage! It's a fair evaluation because fresh fruit and vegetables are infinitely better if natural health is your aim. Bring to mind the aroma of fresh fruit, such as a newly peeled orange, or fresh bowl of pineapple chunks. Appreciate the texture and color of this sort of food, and distinguish it from the look of burning oil. Accept the advice to eat around 5 - 9 fruits and vegetables per day, and seek to aim towards the upper end. Whatever we do expends an element of energy, and in this respect food is our fuel source. Accepting that we would not fill our cars with grit, we shouldn't fill ourselves with fat or grease. Likewise, its not much good having the required grade of gas if you don't have the engine tuned, which is similar to how exercise comes in, to sustain our natural health requirements. You should be able to think of various ways to expend energy efficiently, and enjoyably; golfing, swimming, and walking, amongst many others. Clearly some of your calories are used up at work, but in the interests of your natural health opt for something that you enjoy when you are able to please yourself.
