Ten Christmas Gifts that you Should NEVER buy for a Woman

When the holidays are within our sites, many women get excited and get their shopping shoes out, ready to hit the stores for as much shopping as they (or their wallets) can handle. Men, on the other hand, tend to not get so excited about holiday shopping. A sense of panic sets in for many men, all with one question on their minds: What on Earth should I buy for her?! Gentlemen, here are some tips for buying Christmas gifts for your special lady. Follow these ten rules, and youll have a good chance of avoiding a miserable Christmas.

1. Dont buy your beautiful lady any kind of exotic household plants. Yes, she may love plants, but first of all, it would be something else that she has to take care of in the house, and second of all, if the plant were to die, she might feel like a failure as a nurturer. Not a good holiday feeling. On the subject of foliage, never, EVER buy her any kind of fake plant, either. Dont ask why, just dont!

2. Never give her the economy mega box of cleaning supplies that you found for a great price at the store. While you may be proud of your bargain finding abilities, and in your mind, new cleaning supplies would help her out and make cleaning easier, if you give her a box of bleach and tile cleaner, be prepared for a break up. Even if your intentions are good, all she will see is a suggestion that she needs to clean with new stuffâ�¦.what kind of a gift is that??

3. Dont ever buy her some cute little flannel footed pajamas or any nightgowns with Eeyore on them. All that will tell her is that you think of her as.a child, not the beautiful woman that she is. Stick with the lingerie stuff, but be careful not to go overboard with things like g strings and see through crazy things. Shell think that the gift is more for you than it is for her.

4. Dont buy something for yourself and pretend that it is for her! Tools would fall into this category. Buying a torque wrench with a pretty bow on it does NOT count as a thoughtful gift.

5. Women tend to picky about what they smell like. Dont go buying her perfume unless she has specifically said that she wants it.

6. Do NOT buy her any jewelry that is cubic zirconia. Good grief, to have her be showing off her new diamond ring to her friends, be trying to cut glass with it, and have it crack, break, and fall on the floor would cause irreparable damage to your relationship for sure.

7. For Heavens sake, you do NOT have good taste in womens clothing, so dont buy her any clothes. Women are pretty fickle about what they wear. Just respect the fickle and buy something else.

8. Gentlemen, you know betterâ�¦do not give your girl a gift certificate to a weight loss group or the gym. A gift certificate to a day spa, on the other hand, is a sure bet.

9. Do not buy her the age reversing face cream that she spent a half hour looking at the other day while you were out shopping. If she wants to reverse her age, that is something for her to do, not you!

10. Hopefully most men would know NOT to EVER buy a woman any kind of household appliance, no matter how cool you think it is or how helpful you think it would be. Toasters, vacuums, and a battery operated toilet brush are not gifts; they are hints, and are NEVER welcomed hints! What would be better would be to buy some household appliance on a day that is not her birthday or Christmas and surprise her with a home made smoothie made with the new blender that YOU are excited about.
