Ten types of Government Grants

1. Health Care Grants: A health care grant is one of the types of the Government grants. These health center grants are funded under section 330 of the Public Health Service Act. To be eligible for federal health center grants you must be a private, charitable, tax-exempt non-profit organization or a public entity with a co-applicant arrangement.

2. Breast Care Grants: This Government grant is provided for the breast cancer patients. They provide funds for screening, diagnostics and treatment of breast cancer. Some of the Breast cancer foundations are-Aetna Foundation, Avon Foundation, Citigroup Foundation etc.

3. College grants: Government Grants are also provided to college students. Students who do not have money to spend on the college fee are funded by the government through means of scholarship. This will help in the upliftment of the poor students are very desperate to have their graduation like every other student in the world.

4. Primary care grants: Government grants are provided to people who cannot afford their primary things such as food, clothing, electricity etc. Therefore, government provides funding to such people who cannot afford their primary things.

5. Child health Care grant centers: Government also provided grants to the welfare of children and women. They setup hospitals which offer free treatment to diseased women and children. This will again help in decreasing the death rate in the world.

6. Diabetes grants: Government grants are given to people who r suffering from diabetes. These days diabetes has become a problem all over the world. There are many people who are suffering from diabetes. In order to decrease the increasing diabetes rate the government provides funds for the diagnostics and treatment.

All the above grants are provided by the Government for the welfare of the poor people who cannot afford the hospital bills, food, clothing and many other primary things.
