The Adversity, Distress And Subjects Confronted By Teenagers

Teenagers in present’s world face insurmountable topics. To embark, a teenager goes through puberty, which can last for years. Problems at home and school can add much stress to a teen’s life. Schoolwork, homework, sports, dating, and friendships all can add up to a sensational deal of problems that need to be dealt with on a daily basis. Added to the fusion for legions is the presence of drugs, alcohol, smoking, violence, and sex. With all this and more to deal with, legions teenagers have a couple of rough years growing up.
Peer pressure is when a group of humans, or even just one or two friends, are trying to make individuals do something to ‘fit in.’ Pressure from peers may range from trying a drug, to stealing, to having sexual intercourse. Teenagers may not be mature enough to be able to say no to something they don’t require to do. They might go along with a bad idea just so they are accepted and fit into the group they demand to please. Peer pressure starts at a young age and can continue into adulthood. Unfortunately, as teenagers typically need to fit in with their friends, they might make bad choices in trying to do so.
Children grow up being what their parents thirst for them to be. This commonly includes being a certain religion, being a meat-eater or vegetarian, liking certain music, and so forth. Teenagers must deal with the need to break free of the mould that they might appreciate they are in and become an individual. They commence to realize that they present their own character, their own beliefs and wants, and that they do not show to be like their parents or anyone else. Yet, teenagers are not mature and still need their parents, which legions times cause emotional turmoil within. Expressions of individualism are usually harmless, such as ear piercing or a certain style of clothing.
Bullies are cowards, as the ancient adage has it, with internal security issues that they take out on those whom they perceive to be weaker. Bullying is especially a issue amongst children and teenagers, as they present yet to be properly socialized and individuated as adults. Thus, their moral beliefs is immature, and they are less likely to feel guilty or ashamed about subjecting others to abuse. Although certain steps can be taken to stamp out bullying, this process is complicated by the fact that similar power relations exist across our societies. One need only turn on the TV or read the newspapers to spot a depiction of a powerful antagonist making life hard for a weaker subordinate.
Puberty could be a scary and challenging period of one’s life, when new unprecedented urges and emotions are coming to the fore. There are every one of kinds of associated problems these as dejection, inadequate-esteem, caution, and irrationality. Studies suggest that teenagers who are able to speak honestly about the incidents they are having with puberty to parents, peers, and teachers will cope that much preferable with the phase than those who appreciate they must repress themselves. Sadly, conservative and religious sectors of our societies display tended to regard puberty as problematical and therefore not worth discussing properly. The important thing to remember is that puberty is a completely natural process that must be dealt with.
In conclusion then, there are a whole host of teenager problems that face every being along that time of their life. Despite the problems of peer pressure, bashfulness, and complications related to puberty, one’s teenage years should also be a time of foolery and experimentation. Independent thought and action are made possible, as that gap between childhood and adulthood is bridged. New ideas, new books, and new music are suddenly available. Social networks tend to widen out. Overwhelming options such as foreign travel are there for the taking.
