The Affliction, Concerns And Problems Encountered By Teenagers

Every one of kinds of problems confront the mod teenager as they try to grow into adulthood. The pressure of finding girlfriends or boyfriends, parental expectations, the compulsion to do well at those institutions that show so much bearing on our future, schools, and universities, all add up to complicating an already complicated period of our lives. It’s easy for those of us who present been teenagers to look back and comment upon it objectively, but it is less hard to cope with the challenges when you are going through the phase.
Perhaps the extensive teenager issue of every one of is peer pressure – the need to conform to the expectations of other folk in your environment and of your age bracket. There can be over-concern from parents about peer pressure leading teenagers into bad habits and mischievous acts, but as is suggested in Anthony Burgess’ novel A Clockwork Orange, at intervals teenagers need to experiment in ways that are frowned upon by polite society in order to transcend them. For example, many teenagers who sample drugs don’t go on to become users in later life.
Take a look at the broad spectrum of youth cultures that present sprung up since the post-war era; novel-day tribes that define themselves in opposition to the “square” establishment of teachers, parents, priests, and monster corporation. Teenagers are uncertain about who they are and what they are supposed to be, and so it is natural for them to be drawn to “clubs” they notice they may belong to and thrive in. Although Western cultures preach the worth of individuality, this quickly becomes subsumed into groups of young members of public all donning the same, using the same slang, and listening to the same music.
Bullies are cowards, as the old adage has it, with internal security subjects that they take out on those whom they perceive to be weaker. Bullying is especially a trouble amongst children and teenagers, as they show yet to be properly socialized and individuated as adults. Thus, their moral anticipation is immature, and they are less likely to notice guilty or ashamed about subjecting others to abuse. Although certain steps may be taken to stamp out bullying, this process is complicated by the fact that similar power relations exist across our societies. One need only turn on the TV or read the newspapers to pinpoint a depiction of a powerful antagonist making life hard for a weaker subordinate.
Puberty can be a scary and challenging period of one’s life, when new unprecedented urges and emotions are coming to the fore. There are all kinds of associated problems such as abjection, insignificant-esteem, apprehension, and irrationality. Studies suggest that teenagers who are able to speak honestly about the trips they are having with puberty to parents, peers, and teachers will cope that much superior with the phase than those who encounter they must repress themselves. Sadly, conservative and religious sectors of our societies demonstrate tended to regard puberty as problematical and therefore not worth discussing properly. The important thing to remember is that puberty is a completely natural process that must be dealt with.
There are a number of issues and problems that teenagers face every day. They deal with serious problems such as bullying and lesser problems like asking out persons they like. They also display to handle the problems associated with their changing bodies and the changes they encounter in their own personality or personality. While the problems are numerous, they also help the teens form their own identity. When growing and changing, they carry those changes with them. The problems may seem difficult now, but they very help the teen in the fortune.
