Should the need arises, the hostess need not panic because she has already prepared herself for unpredictable circumstances and ready to cover or make up for any glitches that might occur. It is recommended to prepare extra gifts and store them in a safe, cool and dry place, away from moisture and extreme heat. It is a good thing to keep a complete name list of the invited guests. This list is a vital reference to the hostess. Based on this list, the hostess can plan and customize gifts for her guests. This allows her to add her own personal touches to the gifts, making them even more heart-warming to the recipients. By doing this, she comes across as a gracious and thoughtful hostess to the guests. Personalized gifts for the guests make them feel good and they will appreciate the hostess' thoughtful gestures very much. Playing the part of a perfect hostess isn't really that hard, once you are able to visualize yourself in the shoes of your guest and imagine how you would like to be treated.
