The legal process between telephone companies

By: Mathew Petrenko

Do you know that there are exactly 60 seconds in one minute? But according to IDT lots of calling card corporations only give you 36 seconds in a minute. Many well-known corporations declared that there can't be any fair competition if one of competitors has got unfair advantages before the beginning of a rivalry. Last year IDT/UTA (Union Telecard Alliance) commenced a lawsuit against some corporations-providers of prepaid phone cards attributing false advertisement and deceptive trade operations.

That is difficult to believe, but some of unjust card promoters deliver just approximately 60 percent of time, which were paid for. Recently Total Call International and IDT/UTA was charged with unlawful procedures by the group of telephone corporations that comprised IDT Telecom Inc. and LLC. Before that IDT/UTA intiated legal procedure against the group of accused for three times. Epana Networks, Inc., Dollar Phone Corp. and related structures, and Locus Telecommunications, Inc are also attracted into the assize. That unfinished suit is still on approval in the federal court in Newark, New Jersey. To make everybody know the new phone service terms and payment mode, one of the corporations placed the advertising notice on their website. One of the features he was proud of was the ability to determine the duration of the minute to any size. Another feature was to stochastically deduct a minute from the account. But this innovation is not their invention. Faceforth, every call card corporation will reorganize all the terms and the system of payment this way.

If you can simply calculate, that you can estimate how many minutes you will get on the account buying an international phone card. The ratio is 100 minutes by just $1! You have to choose properly the cards to be assured you're buying what you pay for. The good news is that the corporations noticed above have agreed to return 100 percent of the units prescribed to client. IDT/UTA thinks that if all the accused agree with introduction of new standards, that will be better for them, as the arm of law would judge them more gently. They should approve the offered standards to make the competition between the telecommunication card service corporations truly honest and reasonable. They will attempt to design the mathods for examining the ability of pay beforehand calling cards to give the number of units promised for particular destinations. The contracting parties consented to provide the useful monitoring system open for everyone that wants to control the actions.
