You caught the flu bug, and it’s a cold, wet night. You desperately need a break from your work. It’s breakfast time. In all these three situations, what do you reach for?

Regardless whether it is coffee, hot chocolate or a cup of hot milk, that irreplaceable cup of beverage is without a doubt a part of who you are and you cannot possibly go through a day without that gush of hot liquid surging down your throat.

However, we usually do not realize what it is that helps make this moment a good one. It is of course, none other than that favorite mug that each of us definitely own. As we are creatures of habits, we tend to use the same mug every single time we have our drinks, till the mug sees its first crack sign or till it’s broken.

There are times, however, when we do get bored of using the same mug over and over again. This is when we hit the stores to find another mug to start off our day with. Even though we are so much inclined to find those funky ones to replace our old mug, in the end there’s only those dainty floral patterns or colored mugs to look at, and when we stroll over to the kids section, we’ll see those “World’s greatest dad!” or “My friends visited New York and all I got was this lousy mug!” types of mugs. All these are the normal ones that we can easily find in the market nowadays, making it rather tough to find a mug that is creative or unique enough to accompany us enjoying that cup of coffee.

Last time, my dad and I would share a cup of coffee brewed to perfection every morning. These moments definitely meant a lot to us and are a true essence of our relationship. Now that I am out of town, we do miss each other which gave me this great idea of a personalized coffee mug.
