About a couple of years ago one of our beagle puppies left the house for good for some casues 12 months ago one of our beagle puppies determined it was time to make a journey and never came back. We had her for 12 years and she was best pals with our other dog Muttley. Luckily we possessed her for 15 years before she decided it was time to move on never to return.

We called her Scoobie and she was the best beagle puppy you could wish for.Scoobie, acted like a mom to Muttley and they played and were good for each other, and they got in problems together, life was good all the way around.

I was so heartsick when Scoobie left and poor Muttley looked so baffled.A friend of mine started telling me about beagle dogs and I devoured all the information I could on the web .It crossed my mind that maybe Muttley would like having another big dog to look after him. It was only then that the real discovery took off in earnest to discover where we could find a dog.

To me the most important point was to be able to visit the breeder and ask him a few questions about the beagle spawn.All my buddies at work were lending a hand trying to track down the correct stock breeder .

I was just about ready to give up when my best friend Barbara assisted look in the area she lives and see if there were any breeders out her way Barbara can only best be described as a redneck and she likes being called that and she calls me Smoke as I live in the city. Another close friend of Barbaras phoned her up as well to tell her that there were dog breeders in Long Island as well.

Within a few days Barbara told us she had handled to get in contact with a stock breeders and he would be only too happy to talk to us.That was March 2004 low and behold a litter of puppys had been born the day before March 09, 2004. Barbara gave me the info and I called and talked to the breeders and fix an appointment to go visit the Doberman puppys.

Well, what a day it was when I first visited a beagle dog , Oh My God, they were so cunning I wanted all of them.2 trips later and I was still no nearer to working out which dog would spend the est of his life with me up the road. I had my husband with me, my friend Barbara, and I didn't have to make a selection, suddenly this little fellow started trailing me around my car and untied my shoe lace, so I guess he chose me.

In June Smurf who we called after the cartoon became friends with Muttley (you can see we are cartoon fans).

Smurf has made even the most unhappy person laugh and smile, how could you not love that face.Smurf is a quick mover when it comes to the ladies and by the looks of thing we are going to become grandparents again.
